When his father died, Mandela was groomed for becoming chief of his local tribe.
Mandela became involved in politics.
After finished his degree, he qualified as a Lawyer.
In 1944, Mandela helped found the ANC Youth League.
In 1952, he and his friend Tormbo opened the first Black law firm in South Africa.
In 1962, Mandela had been arrested and sentences to life imprisonment.
In 1990, he was released.
On May 1994, Nelson Mandela was inaugurated as the first democratically elected State President of South Africa.
In 1993, Nelson Mandela was Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with F.W. De Klerk.
